About Wynn Al Marjan Island
Wynn Al Marjan Island will be the first integrated resort in the UAE. Set to open in 2027, the resort will be located 50 miles from Dubai International Airport in the emirate of Ras Al Khaimah. The resort will offer 1,530 rooms and suites, 22 restaurants, lounges, and bars, a theater, and a beach club. It will feature multiple swimming and wading pools, a five-star spa, a salon, a shopping promenade, and a celebrations and events center.
About the Position
Wynn Al Marjan Island is currently seeking a Fitness Professional – Spa Operations to join the resort’s Spa Operations team.
The primary duties and responsibilities of this role are:
- Conduct personalized fitness assessments and develop tailored workout programs for guests.
- Lead individual and group fitness sessions including yoga, Pilates, strength training, aqua fitness, and other wellness classes.
- Provide guidance on proper exercise techniques, injury prevention, and healthy lifestyle habits.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming fitness environment.
- Collaborate with spa therapists and wellness practitioners to offer integrated wellness experiences.
- Ensure qualitative Forbes Five Star standards are delivered.
- Monitor guest progress and adjust fitness plans as needed.
- Promote spa and wellness services, including upselling packages and retail products.
- Ensure all equipment is maintained and used safely according to guidelines.
- Stay current with fitness trends, certifications, and continuing education.
About You
The ideal candidate for this position will have the following experience and qualifications:
- Certified Personal Trainer or Group Fitness Instructor (ACE, NASM, ISSA, or equivalent).
- CPR/AED and First Aid certification (required).
- Minimum 1–2 years of experience in a fitness or wellness environment.
- Strong knowledge of anatomy, exercise physiology, and nutrition basics.
- Excellent communication and motivational skills.
- Professional appearance and demeanor.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
- Experience in a luxury spa, resort, or hospitality setting.
- Additional certifications in yoga, pilates, aqua fitness, or wellness coaching.
- Multilingual abilities are a plus.
